The problem

Is your floor costing you time?

A worn industrial slab is not a cosmetic issue. It shows up as unplanned maintenance, damaged product, slower material handling and an expensive replacement conversation you did not budget for.

Replacement is not the only option. Most of the industrial floors we look at can be restored: strip what failed, repair what moved, re-flatten the surface and re-finish the concrete already in place — without demolition and without pouring a new slab.

Before / After

The same bay, restored

Drag the handle. Same camera position, same racking, same forklift lane — the difference is coating removal, joint repair, diamond grinding and finishing.

No demolition. No new slab. No cure window holding up your schedule.

The solution

A defined restoration sequence, not a guess

Every project follows the same eight steps. Click through to see exactly what happens on your slab and what you get at each stage.

STEP 01 / 08

Slab assessment and documentation

We walk the floor with the facility team, record slab condition, joint damage, coating type and moisture indicators, then map the area into workable zones.

  • Existing coating identification
  • Joint and crack mapping
  • Slab hardness and profile check
  • Zone and access plan

Downtime & phasing planner

Facility managers do not ask "how much per square foot" first — they ask "how long is my floor out of service." Move the inputs to see how area, access and shift choice change the plan.

Work zones
Work window

How this is calculated: planning-only assumptions of roughly 1,800–3,000 sq ft per 8-hour crew day depending on scope, reduced for restricted access and adjusted for the work window. It is a scheduling sketch, not a quote. Real duration is set on site after slab hardness, coating type and moisture testing.

Operations

Work planned around production

Facility managers do not buy grinding. They buy a floor that gets fixed without stopping the plant.

  • Phased workThe area is split into zones so only part of the floor is out of service at a time.
  • Night workCrews mobilize after the last shift and hand the zone back before the first.
  • Weekend workLarger areas completed across a weekend window with no weekday impact.
  • Planned shutdownsScope sequenced into an existing maintenance shutdown you already scheduled.
  • Zone-by-zone restorationContainment and HEPA extraction keep adjacent operations running.

FAQ

What facility managers ask first

Do we have to shut the plant down?

In most facilities, no. Work is planned zone by zone with containment and HEPA dust extraction, and we schedule around your production windows — night work, weekends or planned shutdowns. The phasing plan is agreed before mobilization.

How do you control dust inside a running facility?

Grinding and coating removal are performed mechanically with industrial HEPA vacuum extraction connected at the tool, plus containment at the zone boundary. That is what makes restoration possible next to live production lines.

Can the existing floor be restored instead of replaced?

Very often yes. Replacement means demolition, disposal, new slab and long cure time. Restoration removes the failed layer, repairs the joints and cracks, re-flattens and re-finishes the concrete you already own. The assessment tells you honestly which one your slab needs.

What does a free floor assessment include?

A site walk with your facility team, documentation of slab condition, joint and crack mapping, coating identification, a zone and access plan, and a written floor condition report with a recommended scope and schedule.

Do you work as a subcontractor for general contractors?

Yes. We handle industrial flooring scope for GC and design-build partners, with clear communication, documented schedules and field execution that keeps your overall program on track.

Is Korean-language support available?

Yes. Initial consultation, site walk-through and coordination can be handled in Korean, with English quotations and field documentation for the plant's US-side stakeholders.
